On February 5, 2013, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 298/QD-TTg approving the Construction Planning of Mang Den Ecotourism Area and the General Planning of Kon Plong Urban Area, Kon Plong District to 2030. If in 2013 the whole district attracted 65,000 visitors, by 2019 the total number of tourists reached 249,300 visitors (including 6,600 international visitors).
